Misconceptions about Monorepo

Monorepos seem to be a popular option when choosing a method for version controlling projects. However, a lot more ends up being decided by the method in which you store code such as deployments, usage of common code, handling dependencies, and testing. What I’m shocked to see after reading a few articles is that everyone retroactively forgot the idea behind a monorepo in favor of tooling, CICD processes and visibility of every project.
